Villanova Club Roller Hockey was founded by Tom Motto, Class of 2011, and has been in existence since 2007. It began its first season in the PCRHL for the 2007-2008 season. The club has now expanded to two teams both competing in the PCRHL in the Tier I and Tier II levels. Anthony Famularo is credited with scoring the first goal in Villanova's History (assist by Shane Moran) in the first game of the 2007-2008 season against Lehigh. Ever since, the Club has grown larger each year and competes against more and more schools across the Northeast United States.
